Witnessed Pet Cremation & Funeral Services

Our crematory offers pet owners the option to hold a small ceremony or funeral service before cremation, honoring and celebrating the life of your beloved pet in a meaningful way for you and your family.

If you decide to witness your pet’s cremation in Charlotte, a quiet, private room with a viewing window will be available.

What to Expect During a Witness Cremation

A witness cremation, sometimes called priority or viewing cremation, is a special service that lets you be physically present to observe your pet’s cremation. This enables you to verify that the pet being cremated is yours and provides you with a final sense of closure.

Before the process begins, you will be in a private, quiet room where your pet’s body is laid out to say a few final words or conduct a memorial service if you so choose. When you’re ready, your pet will be moved into the chamber and you will be able to witness this final act of love.

At this point, the viewing is finished. Once complete, the ashes will be available at a specified time to pick up your urn.

Why Families Choose Witnessed Cremation

Witnessed cremation is popular because it allows for complete closure, the opportunity to say final goodbyes, and ensures that the ashes received are definitely those of your pet.
